Privacy

What we collect, why, and what you can do about it, in plain English.

Who we are

Tommy Accounting is a sole-trader business in the UK. We are not yet taking on clients.

What we collect when you make a request

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number (if you give one)
  • what you are asking for
  • your preferred contact time (if you give one)
  • your message
  • that you agreed to be contacted
  • your ticket number
  • the date and time of your request

Why we collect it

Only to respond to your request. We never sell your details or use them for marketing.

Who we share it with

If you later want work done that we hand to a supervised partner accountancy practice, we will only share your details with your agreement.

Where it is stored

In our database provider, Supabase (UK, London region), and our website host, Cloudflare.

Spam protection

Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are human on our forms. Cloudflare may process technical data from your device to do this. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Website visits

We count visits anonymously: which page, the website you came from, your country, and whether the visitor is a person, a search engine or an AI assistant. We do not store IP addresses or use advertising or tracking cookies. We set one small cookie only on the site owner’s own device so his visits aren’t counted; visitors get no cookies from us.

How long we keep it

Until your request is dealt with. Closed requests are deleted automatically 12 months after they are closed. You can delete your own request at any time on the Manage my request page.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, or object to how it is used. Make a request and choose “Privacy / my data”. We reply within one month.

Complaints

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
